JOB TITLE:  Design Team Member / Interior Designer

DESCRIPTION: 
Join our rapidly growing interior design firm and work in a creative, supportive, and inspiring environment! We are a full service interior design firm that assists our clients with a range of project scopes including remodeling, new construction, commercial design, and furnishing procurement and installation. 

 

We are seeking positive and efficient key team members who hold great attention to detail, problem solving skills and are highly organized individuals. Contribute to the overall success of our team and award winning designs!  The ideal team member will go above and beyond to collaborate on our team and communicate effectively with both the design team and clients alike.   

 

Collaborate with our team on all facets of a design project, including design concepts, 3D modeling, specification, documentation, and project implementation!

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Will include but are not limited to


 

  •  Work closely with CEO and principal designer, Courtney Otte, on design projects

  • Produce 3D Sketchup design models concepts and renderings

  • Drafting and drawing floor plans

  • Research and specify project materials including furnishings and finishes

  • Specification writing

  • Prepare design plan documentation for implementation, including elevations and section cuts

  • Prepare client presentations

  • Opportunity for self run design projects

  • Attend design meetings + taking detailed notes

  • Client project management: Keep projects organized, on task and on schedule

  • Minimum of an associates degree in Interior Design or related field is required

  • 2+ years of Interior Design field experience is strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Sketchup or willingness to learn is required. Knowledge in other / similar CAD like programs is appreciated, however technology available for use in the office is strictly sketchup programs.

  • Demonstrated ability in photoshop, inDesign, and other adobe suite programs is appreciated

  • Demonstrated ability in canva

  • Computer savvy and experience in google platforms such as gmail, google calendar, google docs and google drive is a requirement

  • Organized + self starter attitude with ability to prioritize tasks

  • Experience in implementing a design project from start to finish is a strong plus

  • Experience with product procurement + vendor relations is a strong plus

  • Experience with creating project budgets, product proposals and purchase orders is appreciated​​​
