Inlet Woods

We gave them not just a modern aesthetic, but a space designed around togetherness, comfort, and the beauty of their lake views.

The clients were looking for a completely modernized layout and finish palette that departed from their untouched 1990s interior. They wanted an open-concept main level with abundant seating for guests, improved storage, and a serene atmosphere that connected visually across the entire home.

The homeowners wanted a fresh start in a home that felt light, connected, and ready to host their large extended family.

Key Implementations

Angled Staircase Constraints

The original staircase's placement made layout planning difficult. Our solution: custom-designed, glass-doored wine and beverage storage that created the illusion of squared walls—adding storage and elegance while enhancing natural light flow.

Fireplace Relocation

To open up the living and dining areas, we relocated the fireplace to a shared wall previously occupied by a master suite fireplace. This allowed for a 12-person dining table and a counter behind the sofa for extra seating—creating ideal zones for entertaining.

Challenges + Solutions

Flow + Cohesion

We widened doorways, added new windows and archways, and introduced consistent finishes to unify previously disjointed spaces—making the home feel connected, open, and elevated
