Over years of evolving collaboration, we’ve guided this client through a room-by-room metamorphosis—each space revealing more of her bold, eclectic voice. What began as a traditional backdrop transformed into a curated home full of color, contrast, and architectural personality. We leaned into pattern, depth, and drama—refreshing the master suite, living, dining, and kitchen—without swinging the sledgehammer. The vision was always to honor existing structure while infusing each room with renewed energy, intentional style, and lasting sophistication.
We designed a sweeping arched bed frame in-house and collaborated with a local artisan to bring it to life. It anchors the master suite with both form and function—supporting bold finishes while elevating the space architecturally.
Walls throughout were repainted in airy neutrals, softening the backdrop and allowing the client’s colorful style to sing. Dark floors, rich cabinetry, and statement wallpapers now serve as intentional contrasts rather than competing elements.
Rather than reworking walls, we reimagined the finishes throughout the kitchen, powder bath and main level. Curated furniture was paired with layered textiles, and strategic scale shifts. The transformation is both visual and experiential—new life without structural disruption.
The kitchenette area had limited square footage but needed to feel substantial. We used large-scale furniture and bold finishes to trick the eye and elevate the sense of space—proving that small doesn’t have to mean subtle.
The living room presented circulation challenges due to the adjacent staircase wall. We had to offset the seating arrangement from the room’s true center to preserve walkways, which required thoughtful scale, balance, and styling. By shifting the visual focal point and using asymmetric styling techniques, the space now feels intuitive and open—not awkward.
