Our Spring Ridge project transformed an unfinished basement and dated main level spaces into a modern, highly functional extension of the home. The client inherited this home from their parents and wanted to really make it their own and add elements that spoke to their personal style.
The clients wanted their lower level to serve as both an inviting family hub and a stylish entertaining space, while also incorporating a bold colors and finishes. By reimagining the basement layout and layering in elevated finishes, we delivered a design that maximized usability, light, and visual impact.
We turned a dark, unfinished basement into a bright, livable extension of the home. With bold tile selections—deep navy in the shower and glossy maroon on the bathroom wall—paired with natural oak cabinetry and hexagon flooring, the lower level became equal parts fun and functional.
The kitchen received updated finishes and improved storage solutions, balancing everyday practicality with a clean, modern aesthetic. Warm tones and streamlined cabinetry now set the tone for gatherings and daily routines.
We introduced architectural trim detailing on the feature wall, cozy yet modern furnishings, and performance fabrics for a space that balances style with durability. The living room now feels inviting and elevated—perfect for both family life and entertaining.
The homeowners wanted impact in the main living and kitchen areas without gutting the entire space. We introduced a feature wall with architectural trim detailing for modern character, refreshed the kitchen with improved storage and finishes, and layered in new lighting and furnishings. These targeted updates elevated the spaces while being budget-conscious.
The homeowners wanted color and personality, but strong tile hues like navy and maroon risked feeling overwhelming or dated if not paired thoughtfully. We balanced those bold selections with neutral tones—soft grays in the hexagon floor tile, warm natural wood in the vanity, and crisp white quartz counters. The result is striking but cohesive, with color used strategically to energize the space.
The basement was originally dark, cold, and unfinished, offering little functionality beyond storage. It felt disconnected from the rest of the home. We reimagined it as a true extension of the living space—adding layered lighting, durable flooring, and bold finishes that bring character. A bathroom with deep blue and burgundy tiles became the focal point, while natural oak cabinetry and black fixtures grounded the space with modern warmth.
