The homeowners of this vibrant new build were ready to leave behind dark, mismatched furnishings and create a home that truly reflected their bold personalities and modern lifestyle. With a love for hosting, game nights, and architectural detail, they wanted their spaces to feel curated, cohesive, and unapologetically them. We stepped in to elevate the living room, powder bath, mudroom, office, and basement with bold pattern, intentional layout planning, and custom industrial accents—designing each space to feel connected, elevated, and authentically personal.
We reworked the main living areas with large-scale sofas, swiveling lounge chairs, dual coffee tables, and flexible side tables—all designed for entertaining and comfort. The color palette layered warmth with contrast, while patterns added depth and visual interest.
In the basement, we designed a custom maple and powder-coated metal cabinet to house ping-pong table tops and added a bespoke counter-height table behind the sofa for extra seating—mixing form and function with the client’s industrial style in mind.
From a hand-painted lyric mural to a panelled architectural office wall featuring curated artwork, we tied in meaningful, personal touches that reflected the homeowners’ lifestyle and professional passions.
To counteract sound transfer in the open-concept layout, we integrated soft surfaces including area rugs, drapery, and upholstered furniture throughout both levels—creating visual and acoustic harmony.
The basement originally lacked cohesion and purpose. We created custom millwork, added focal points like a mural and paneling, and mirrored upstairs color schemes to make the entire home feel unified and intentional.
The open-concept structure and hard surfaces created significant sound travel between the main and lower levels. Our solution: layering textiles, soft furnishings, and drapery to dampen acoustics without compromising the clean, modern aesthetic.
With a client who loved bold design, it was important to balance pattern, texture, and color for longevity. We layered saturated tones with neutral grounding elements and mixed finishes to strike the perfect balance of statement and sophistication.
The client wanted a lounge-chair-meets-workstation layout that worked for both Zoom calls and game-day TV viewing. We reoriented the desk and relocated the TV to allow for dual focal points and layered seating without visual clutter.
