The Pointe was a furnishing-focused transformation centered primarily around the living room, with strategic updates to the kitchen and layered styling throughout. Our clients desired a bright, neutral backdrop that would allow their curated art collection and travel treasures to shine. With a strong emphasis on entertaining, durability, and thoughtful styling, we designed a space that feels elevated yet approachable, balancing comfort, performance, and personality in equal measure.
Entertaining was a priority, so we created a dynamic seating plan featuring two sofas, two lounge chairs, and two movable benches. This flexible arrangement allows for both large gatherings and intimate conversations without overcrowding the room.
With two dogs in the home, durability was essential. We specified performance fabrics for the upholstered pieces and selected modular carpet tiles, allowing individual sections to be removed, cleaned, or replaced as needed without disrupting the entire floor.
Decor was selected to complement their travel collections while still standing on its own. Abstract sculptures, fluted candles, and textural accents were layered throughout, alongside hidden storage solutions for everyday essentials like remotes and small electronics.
Rather than compete with meaningful pieces from their travels, we curated décor that enhances and frames those collections, maintaining a cohesive yet layered aesthetic.
The clients needed ample seating without the room feeling crowded. By using clean-lined, scale-appropriate furnishings and movable benches, we achieved flexibility without sacrificing openness.
With a love for blue, the challenge was restraint. By using the hue in controlled moments against a neutral envelope, we achieved personality without visual overwhelm.
