As the second phase of our West Shores transformation, this remodel focused on reimagining the home’s most functional spaces, three bathrooms and a highly customized laundry room. Building upon the light, refined aesthetic established in the main level renovation, our goal was to carry that design language forward while solving deeper functional challenges. From reworking layouts to integrating highly specific storage solutions, each space was thoughtfully designed to feel elevated, cohesive, and tailored to the clients’ everyday routines.
We reconfigured the primary bath to improve flow, maximize storage, and incorporate key lifestyle features, including a dedicated makeup vanity, a spacious shower, and a more functional tub placement. Every inch was optimized for both comfort and usability.
In the guest and basement bathrooms, we elevated the spaces through updated finishes, including new tile, vanities, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and hardware; bringing them in alignment with the home’s refreshed aesthetic.
The laundry room became one of the most intentionally designed spaces in the home. We incorporated layered storage solutions for pantry overflow, hidden laundry baskets, cleaning tools, and both long- and short-hanging clothing. A built-in bench and mudroom zone support garage access, while vented cabinetry allows concealed drying without sacrificing performance.
Across all spaces, cabinetry was meticulously planned to support real-life use, from medicine cabinets in the primary bath to concealed storage for laundry baskets, ensuring a clean and uncluttered environment.
Storage was a major priority across every space. Through custom cabinetry, hidden compartments, and intentional layouts, we ensured functionality was maximized while maintaining a clean, elevated aesthetic.
With the main level previously completed, it was essential that this second phase felt like a natural continuation, not an afterthought. We carefully carried through materials, tones, and detailing to create a seamless, whole-home experience.
These spaces needed to work hard without feeling overly utilitarian. By layering refined finishes, thoughtful lighting, and tailored millwork, we elevated everyday routines into a more luxurious experience.
The laundry room required extensive planning to accommodate multiple uses, from drying to storage to mudroom functionality. We reworked the entire layout to ensure proper clearances, accessibility, and efficiency without compromising design.
